About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic early-career IT Technical Support professionals (1–3 years of experience) with a strong foundation in the Japanese language and a passion for technology. This role offers an exciting opportunity to further develop your career in the dynamic field of IT networking, where you will gain hands-on exposure to areas such as Collaboration, Enterprise Networking, Service Provider Networking, and Network Security while enhancing your technical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting and resolving network incidents for Japanese-speaking end-customers, under guidance.
- Document technical issues and resolutions clearly and concisely in both English and Japanese.
- Adhere strictly to Client and HCLTech's security, compliance, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members across different tiers (Tier 1, 2, 3) and internal stakeholders.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and customer requirements in a dynamic environment.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, or a related field,
- 1 to 3 years of working experience in networking or related IT support roles (e.g., service desk/support, IT helpdesk, or network support).
- Near-native fluency in Japanese (written and spoken). Language certifications such as JLPT N1/N2 are a plus but not mandatory.
- Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
- High level of curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- Strong interest in building a career in IT networking field.
