Role Purpose:
Own end-to-end e-commerce performance and growth across Malaysia and Vietnam (marketplaces such as Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop), shaping the channel strategy and the commercial agenda with our platform and reseller partners. The role also oversees reseller-linked online trade operations to keep execution clean and aligned. It is a hands-on commercial role that combines channel ownership with close involvement in day-to-day trading.
1. E-Commerce Strategy & Execution:
· Develop and implement an end-to-end e-commerce strategy tailored to each country's unique market requirements.
· Define key performance metrics for revenue, growth, customer engagement, and satisfaction.
· Plan and execute monthly campaign calendar, traffic and conversion levers, assortment/pricing architecture, and store health (content, ratings, visibility).
· Omnichannel / O2O coordination: align online plans with key accounts and internal stakeholders (Sales, Brand, Distributor teams) to ensure pricing alignment and consistent brand execution across channels.
2. Platform & Online Reseller Management:
· Manage relationships with marketplaces and relevant partners, negotiate campaign mechanics, visibility and commercial terms, and execute joint business plans.
· Negotiate commercial terms, promotions, and joint business planning with e-commerce platforms to meet sales targets.
· Monitor and optimize the performance of our brand across e-commerce platforms, including search ranking, page views, and product reviews.
· Reseller-linked online operations: Oversee online-facing reseller mechanics — promo and pricing updates, rebate / scan-sales alignment, and execution tracking — keeping records clean and auditable.
3. Digital Marketing & Content Management:
· Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including social media, SEO/SEM, influencer partnerships, and paid ads.
· Ensure all e-commerce content (product pages, banners, ads) aligns with brand standards and is optimized for maximum engagement.
· Leverage data and insights to optimize the product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional tactics.
4. Reporting & insights:
· Produce weekly and monthly performance dashboards (net sales, ROI, spend, SKU drivers, competitor signals) and translate insights into actions and priorities.
· Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within each market to optimize customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty.
5. Budget & profitability:
· Govern e-commerce trade spend / advertising budgets; recommend actions to improve profitability (value chain awareness, promo efficiency, mix)..
6. Inventory & Logistics Coordination:
· Work with distributor and supply chain teams to manage forecasting, replenishment, and service levels; prevent stock-outs and ageing inventory.
7. Vietnam execution enablement:
· Establish operating rhythm with VN distributor team; where needed, source and manage a local freelancer/enabler for Vietnamese-language execution support.
