About The Role
We're looking for a highly technical, hands-on
Ecommerce & Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our
organic search performance and paid media execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of
SEO, performance marketing, and AI-driven search innovation.
You'll split your time approximately
60% SEO / 40% Paid Media, with a strong emphasis on
Google Ads as the primary revenue driver. This is not an agency management role — you'll be directly inside the platforms, building, optimizing, and scaling campaigns.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with proven traffic and ranking growth
- Strong technical SEO expertise (site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data)
- Proven experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads independently
- Proficiency in tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4
- Experience with Google Tag Manager and event-based tracking
- Deep understanding of AI's impact on search (SGE, AI Overviews, LLMs)
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft/Bing Ads
- Ecommerce experience (Shopify or similar platforms)
- Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or SQL for SEO automation
- Experience with log file analysis and crawl budget optimization
- Familiarity with entity SEO, topical authority, and knowledge graphs
- Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications
Key Responsibilities
SEO (60%)
Technical SEO
- Conduct regular audits covering site architecture, crawlability, indexation, and Core Web Vitals
- Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, hreflang, and structured data (Schema.org)
- Identify and fix crawl issues, redirect chains, duplicate content, and broken links
- Collaborate with developers to implement technical improvements
- Monitor log files and use tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console
On-Page & Content SEO
- Perform keyword research, search intent mapping, and competitor gap analysis
- Optimize meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content structure
- Create SEO briefs and guide content creation for ranking performance
Off-Page & Authority Building
- Execute link-building strategies and digital PR initiatives
- Identify partnerships to strengthen domain authority
AI & Emerging Search
- Optimize for AI-driven search (Google AI Overviews/SGE, Bing Copilot, LLMs)
- Implement entity SEO, structured data, and knowledge graph strategies
- Monitor zero-click trends and evolving SERP features
- Test content formats suited for AI-assisted discovery (FAQs, definitions, long-form content)
Paid Media (40%)
Google Ads (Priority)
- Build and optimize Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and YouTube campaigns
- Conduct keyword strategy, audience segmentation, and ad testing
- Implement conversion tracking via GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- Optimize PMax asset groups and audience signals to maximize ROAS
Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
- Manage full-funnel campaigns (awareness to conversion)
- Build and refine audiences (custom, lookalike, retargeting)
- Run structured A/B testing on creatives (static, carousel, video)
- Troubleshoot pixel, CAPI, and attribution issues
Microsoft/Bing Ads
- Manage and optimize campaigns on the Microsoft Audience Network
- Leverage AI-powered ad placements and Copilot integrations
Reporting & Analytics
- Build dashboards (Looker Studio/Data Studio) integrating GA4, Google Ads, Meta, and Bing
- Deliver actionable performance reports with clear insights
