Summary
This role ensures accurate and timely processing of Shared Services (Hire to Retire) in compliance with local regulations for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Additionally, contributes to global transformation projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and manages a team aligned with CBRE's strategic goals.
What You'll Do
- Manage and respond to employee and HR inquiries related to employee lifecycle, compensation & benefits, payroll, performance, and employee services through ServiceNow, email, chat, or phone.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Process employee movements, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, resignations, and terminations.
- Prepare and administer employee documentation, letters, contracts, and compliance-related records.
- Manage leave administration, including leave applications, extensions, cancellations, and return-to-work processes.
- Support compensation and benefits administration, including salary changes, bonuses, and off-cycle adjustments.
- Monitor and resolve complex employee cases and escalations, ensuring timely closure and high service quality.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks on HR processes, employee data, and case management activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate HR processes, perform root cause analysis, and support system enhancements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned HR processes, support audits and projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of HR operations/shared services experience supporting China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
- Hands-on experience in HR transactional processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Prior experience working in a shared services or HR operations environment.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and experience serving as a process or subject matter expert.
- Experience working in a matrixed and multicultural HR environment.
- Proficient in HR technologies and digital HR systems, including HRIS platforms (e.g., PeopleSoft/Oracle) and ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in HR reporting, data management, and tracking SLA/KPI performance.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive team player with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
