Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical & Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is suitable for fresh graduates who are interested in electrical systems, industrial automation, control systems, and manufacturing technology.

The successful candidate will receive hands-on exposure to electrical and automation systems while working closely with experienced engineers and technical teams on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, improvement projects, and automation initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems.
  • Support engineers in troubleshooting electrical, control, and automation-related issues.
  • Assist with PLC, HMI, SCADA, sensors, motors, VFDs, and other industrial control systems.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production machinery and equipment.
  • Assist in identifying equipment issues and implementing appropriate corrective actions.
  • Participate in machine improvement, automation, and engineering projects.
  • Support the testing and commissioning of new machinery and automated equipment.
  • Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth equipment operation.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve machine efficiency, reliability, productivity, and safety.
  • Follow company procedures and relevant electrical and workplace safety requirements.
  • Perform other engineering-related tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Internship or academic project experience in electrical, automation, PLC, robotics, control systems, or manufacturing will be an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, and industrial automation.
  • Familiarity with PLC, HMI, SCADA, sensors, motors, or VFDs is an added advantage.
  • Basic ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge in electrical and automation engineering.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently when required.
  • Willing to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment and support hands-on engineering activities.
