What You'll Do
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and successful project outcomes.
- Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, cable schedules, and termination diagrams using industry-leading design tools.
- Contribute to the design of power, control, and lighting systems for a variety of industrial projects.
- Partner with engineers and project managers to develop accurate, compliant, and practical design solutions.
- Apply Australian electrical codes, standards, and regulations to ensure quality and compliance.
- Support project delivery through the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOMs), equipment specifications, and technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate drawing records, revisions, and project documentation while participating in design reviews and client engagements.
Key Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Minimum 3 years experience in electrical design within industrial, infrastructure, or similar environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); experience with Revit or EPLAN is advantageous.
- Experience with modular switch-rooms, data centres, BIM workflows, or an electrical trade background is highly regarded.
- Working knowledge of Australian electrical standards and industry compliance requirements would bring great value.
- Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and problem-solving skills.
Work setup:
- Kuala Lumpur (Mid Valley City): Australian hours (6:30 AM – 3:30 PM MYT) Hybrid setup.
