What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and successful project outcomes.
  • Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, cable schedules, and termination diagrams using industry-leading design tools.
  • Contribute to the design of power, control, and lighting systems for a variety of industrial projects.
  • Partner with engineers and project managers to develop accurate, compliant, and practical design solutions.
  • Apply Australian electrical codes, standards, and regulations to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Support project delivery through the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOMs), equipment specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate drawing records, revisions, and project documentation while participating in design reviews and client engagements.

Key Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in electrical design within industrial, infrastructure, or similar environments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); experience with Revit or EPLAN is advantageous.
  • Experience with modular switch-rooms, data centres, BIM workflows, or an electrical trade background is highly regarded.
  • Working knowledge of Australian electrical standards and industry compliance requirements would bring great value.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and problem-solving skills.

Work setup:

  • Kuala Lumpur (Mid Valley City): Australian hours (6:30 AM – 3:30 PM MYT) Hybrid setup.
