Department Overview
At Motorola Solutions, we build and connect technologies to help protect people, property, and places. Our solutions enable the collaboration between public safety agencies, defense, and enterprises that is critical for a proactive approach to safety and security. This team is an essential pillar within our hardware engineering eco-system, driving our commitment to Solving for safer. We solve the crucial challenges that keep first responders connected and communicate with clarity when everything is on the line.
Job Description
- Collaborate with regional teams to resolve customer escalations, supplier issues, and manufacturing bottlenecks.
- Perform deep technical analysis, deliver time-critical solutions, and ensure full resolution of hardware anomalies.
- Analyze radio designs using lab equipment (analyzers, oscilloscopes) and run performance simulations or experiments.
- Lead prototype bring-up, functional debugging, and support manufacturing through regulatory and reliability certifications.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications Engineering.
- Good analytical skill & understanding of schematics diagram.
- Good problem solving and inter team coordination skill.
- Customer focused and result oriented.
- Ability to work and communicate well across different design center/ regional teams.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision, able to multi-task, analytical, self motivated and a good team player.
- Strong inter-personal skills.
- Willing to based in Bayan Lepas, Penang
