Electrical Engineer based at Telok Panglima Garang

Job Scope

1. Prepare & review documents which are related to electrical equipment, lighting layout plan, power layout plan, data layout plan, lighting single line diagram, smoke detector layout plan, emergency light layout plan and main schematic diagram, etc.

2. Prepare all inspection form related to projects such as insulation test form, site acceptance form, etc as and when required.

3. Monitor, conduct and supervise work at site until completion for the project.

4. Liaise and coordinate with main contractor, consultant, client, etc to ensure project works smoothly.

5. Advise and prepare documents which include the technical data, technical specifications, drawings, BQ

to procurement department and suppliers.

6. Preparation and submission of equipment/material to client/consultant for approval.

7. Tracking, monitoring, updating and reporting of submission and approval status.

8. Communicate with suppliers, vendors and manufactures if there any ambiguity or insufficient specification and documents.

9. Advise and write in technical query to client if there are any contradiction / discrepancies between tender drawing, construction drawing, BQ specification, technical schedule.

10. Monitor work progress at site as per work schedule and report to Site Manager.

11. Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors and/or vendor before and during installation, testing and commissioning.

12. Prepare and review equipment data sheets, specification and requisitions.

13. Perform vendor offer review technical bid evaluation, carry out vendor drawing / documents review and vendor data incorporation.

14. Perform procurement activities such as Request For quotation, Purchase Order, Delivery Order and Invoice Documents.
