Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and review control panels, including layouts, wiring diagrams, and component selection in line with project requirements and standards.
• Perform basic load calculations, component sizing, and ensure system safety, functionality, and reliability.
• Develop and integrate PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for automation projects, ensuring smooth communication between equipment and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize automation systems and support upgrades or modifications when required.
• Provide engineering support to production during fabrication, assembly, and installation; resolve technical issues on-site or on the shop floor.
• Conduct testing activities including FAT and SAT, and support commissioning to ensure systems meet design specifications.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation such as drawings, manuals, and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Support maintenance activities, analyze system performance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all work complies with safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or plant engineering environments.
• Solid knowledge of control panel design, electrical systems, and automation integration.
• Hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with industrial control systems, instrumentation, and process control.
• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of electrical standards and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, ISO).
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills, able to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Willing to travel for project or site support when required.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage due to stakeholder communication.
