Job Description

  • Project Execution
  • Supervise site electrical works (cabling, panels, solar arrays, earthing)
  • Ensure compliance with design specs and standards
  • Inspect site daily, monitor safety, quality, and progress
  • Coordinate with contractors, designers, and suppliers
  • Review technical drawings and resolve design issues (RFI)
  • Manage site logistics and material deliveries
  • Control Building Electrical Systems
  • Supervise installation of control building systems (MV/LV switchgear, SCADA,
  • lighting, alarms, HVAC power)
  • Coordinate internal electrical fit-out, earthing, and cable management
  • Participate in inspections, functional testing, and compliance checks
  • Coordinate with civil works for structural integration and safety
  • Testing & Commissioning
  • Oversee and document testing and commissioning of systems (e.g., inverters, transformers, protection)
  • Troubleshoot issues and ensure proper system energisation
  • Design Coordination
  • Collaborate with design teams on RFIs and as-built updates
  • Highlight and resolve drawing inconsistencies
  • Site Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain complete site records and prepare reports
  • Assist with project handover documentation (O&M manuals, warranties)
  • Health, Safety & Environment
  • Enforce safety compliance and participate in safety
  • Stakeholder Coordination
  • Engage with all stakeholders and attend coordination meetings
  • Ensure clear communication among all project parties

Requirements

  • Mechanical or/and Electrical Engineering (Min. Diploma)
  • Min 3 years working Experience in construction/solar field
  • Will to relocate and base in Northern Malaysia
  • QAQC experience is advantages
