Develop, test, and validate electrical simulation models using RT-LAB and PSCAD for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) applications.
Perform automated testing using HIL and PSCAD test automation platforms to ensure model accuracy, reliability, and performance.
Analyse and summarize HIL simulation results, prepare model verification reports, and support model comparison testing activities.
Conduct HIL simulation, testing, and validation activities according to customer and project requirements, supporting grid-connection model verification and certification processes.
Investigate and resolve technical issues related to HIL simulations, including hardware and software troubleshooting, and develop technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.
Maintain project simulation tracking records and contribute to continuous improvement of simulation methodologies and technical capabilities.
Participate in internal training, technical exchanges, and professional development activities to enhance simulation expertise.
Job Requirement:
Master's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Power Electronics, Automation, or related engineering disciplines.
Minimum 1 year of experience in power system modelling, simulation, or related electrical engineering fields.
Familiarity with photovoltaic (PV), energy storage, and power conversion products is preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical circuits and power system fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with RT-LAB/HIL testing platforms and electrical measurement instruments.
Proficiency in power system simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and PSCAD.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Solid knowledge of HIL simulation testing and the ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Capable of managing multiple tasks and delivering simulation support within project timelines.
