As an Electrical Surveyor (Offshore Rig Inspection), you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of electrical systems on offshore rigs. You will be directly integrated into the Maintenance department.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Carry out inspections of electrical installations and equipment in an offshore rig environment.
Verify the condition, conformity, and proper functioning of electrical systems.
Identify anomalies, defects, and potential risks related to electrical equipment.
Contribute to maintenance follow-up and support corrective actions when required.
Prepare clear inspection reports and communicate findings to the relevant teams.
Work closely with maintenance stakeholders to support safe and efficient operations.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of total oilfield experience within the last 15 years, with at least 5 years specifically dedicated to independent third-party rig inspections (Jack-up & Tender Assisted Rig).
Must have prior senior-level offshore electrical experience (such as Senior/Chief/Rig Electrician), with a mandatory requirement for Jack-up rig exposure.
Must hold a valid CompEx (Ex01-Ex04) or equivalent Hazardous Area inspection certification.
