As a Technician at RoviSys, you will design electrical control panel layouts, power systems and construction packages as well as support electrical field installation, design and implementation. You will design electrical control and power circuits that utilize voltage from 24 volts DC up to 480 volts AC. You will work with a talented group of people using the latest technologies to provide innovative electrical and control solutions for our clients.
Description of work:
- Prepare and modify electrical control panel drawings, layouts and schematics.
- Create Bills of Material (BOM) and assist with selection of components.
- Assist sizing of control cabinets, customer site walk-downs for electrical, power, instrumentation.
- Supervise site installation for electrical, power, instrumentation and piping.
- Travel required: Typically, 5%-20%, could increase based on project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Engineering Technology, or equivalent electrical and controls background.
- 0-3 years experience with industrial electrical design and drafting.
- Experiences with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and/or BIM 2500.
- Self-motivated and willing to attend education classes to supplement skillset as required.
