Position: Electronic Hardware Design Engineer

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Electronic Hardware Design Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain electronic hardware systems across a range of applications. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teamsincluding production, quality, and field serviceto ensure that company's products meet high standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to production, quality, and field service teams regarding electrical systems and components based on company's design standards and expertise.
- Lead and contribute to both sustaining and new development projects.
- Maintain engineering databases and ensure proper documentation of design and processes.
- Design, develop, and test electronic circuits, PCB layouts, and embedded systems.
- Optimize hardware designs for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Build and validate prototypes to ensure design functionality.
- Troubleshoot issues such as signal integrity, power distribution, and component failures.
- Perform rigorous testing for environmental, thermal, and performance reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze failure reports and implement continuous improvements to enhance reliability and performance.
- Assist in transitioning designs into production, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes.
- Support component selection, procurement, and assembly activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance on company's design boards internally and externally.
- Lead the implementation of new hardware designs.
- Define and implement part qualification procedures in collaboration with test bay and quality teams.
- Establish and enforce design rules for integrating newly released components into customer solutions.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to qualify and implement new vendors.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) in response to customer complaints.
- Assist the test bay in troubleshooting hardware issues.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical/hardware design engineering.
- Strong background in hardware design, development, and testing.
- Proficient in analog and digital circuit design and analysis.
- Familiar with industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Decisive and capable of making informed technical decisions.
- Familiarity with international process and safety standards, especially those relevant to company.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
