Are you passionate about creating impactful email campaigns that drive engagement, loyalty, and growth We're looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our Kuala Lumpur team and deliver world-class fitness experiences to our community across Southeast Asia and Australia.

About the Role

As our Email Marketing Specialist,you'llplay a pivotal role in managing all email campaigns end-to-end, from building and sending EDMs to optimising engagement.You'llalsobe responsible forcreating andmaintainingmailing lists,pullingand combining data from multiple reports,cleaningand segmenting audiences to ensure accuracy and relevance. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager,you'llwork across marketing, creative, sales, customer service, and IT teams to align campaigns with brand messaging and businessobjectives.

WhatYou'llDo

  • Manage all email campaigns, including building,schedulingand sending EDMs.
  • Build andmaintainmailing lists,pullingand manipulating data from multiple reports,cleaningand segmenting audiences for targeted campaigns.
  • Lead the implementation of email automation workflows in Mailchimp andHubspot.
  • Design, execute, and optimise automated customer journeys (onboarding, retention, reactivation, promotions).
  • Audit and improve current email systems to enhance efficiency, deliverability, and data integrity.
  • Analyse campaign performance toidentifyopportunities for automation, segmentation, and personalisation.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams on email content strategy and design.
  • Work cross-functionally to align campaigns with broader businessobjectives.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, PDPA and other data privacy regulations.
  • Process andconsolidateraw data using Excel formulas and automated workflows, producingaccuratereports for day-to-day communications.
  • Track, report and act on key metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions, ROI).
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emergingtoolsand AI-driven marketing opportunities.

WhatWe'reLooking For

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in email marketing.
  • Advancedexpertisein Mailchimp andHubspot, including automation and analytics.
  • Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and logic skills.
  • Experience designing and optimising automated workflows with segmentation and personalisation.
  • Knowledge of email marketing compliance standards (GDPR, PDPA).
  • Advanced data processing and analysis skills, with hands-on experience using Excel for complex operations including advanced formulas (e.g., nested formulas), data validation rules, and merging large or multi-source datasets with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong capability in data management and reconciliation, including consolidating, cleaning, and interpreting data in Excel using lookups (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), filtering, sorting, and cross-referencing to ensure data integrity for email marketing campaigns and reporting.
  • Bonus: Experience in the fitness industry, familiarity with Les Mills products, or exposure to AI tools and marketing automation platforms.
