Role Overview

As an Embedded Device Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting the TEMS Pocket & TEMS Sense product portfolio by developing, certifying, and optimizing Android devices for mobile network testing. You'll work on cutting-edge technologies involving C/C++, Android system engineering, chipset integration, LTE/5G, and embedded development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C++ components for TEMS Pocket/Sense
• Perform Android device certification (TEMSification) including bootloader unlocking, Magisk patching, and device qualification
• Develop Android services using Java/Kotlin
• Implement Qualcomm, MediaTek, and Samsung chipset-specific features
• Analyze LTE/5G signaling, RF performance, and protocol behavior
• Troubleshoot device measurement accuracy and network performance issues
• Support customer escalations and collaborate with global engineering teams
• Stay current with Android platform updates and emerging 3GPP standards

Required Skills

• Strong experience with C/C++ (Embedded Systems, USB Communication)
• Android development using Java/Kotlin
• Android internals (Rooting, Magisk, Bootloader, System Access)
• LTE & 5G NR technologies
• Knowledge of 3GPP signaling protocols
• Git/GitHub, Python scripting, CI/CD
