Why does this job exist and why is it critical​

The Employee Experience Associate plays a key role in designing, executing, and enhancing initiatives that create meaningful and engaging experiences for all Maxis employees. This role will focus on end-to-end engagement - from conceptualization and data-driven insights to execution and communication - ensuring every employee feels connected, valued, and inspired at work.

What You Will Do

1. Employee Engagement Design & Implementation

  • Design and implement a multimodal approach to employee engagement, catering to diverse working arrangements - regional, shift-based, virtual, and in-person.

  • Plan and execute mass-scale engagement activities, talks, festive celebrations, and interest-based events that strengthen belonging and connection across the organization.

2. Communication & Visual Management

  • Manage and maintain SharePoint sites and visual content production for Employee Experience, ensuring effective communication and high visibility of ongoing initiatives and events.

3. Data & Insights

  • Collaborate with HRIT to maintain and update employee experience dashboards, leveraging data and analytics to track engagement metrics, measure impact, and inform future strategies.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to support data-driven decisions and demonstrate ROI of Employee Experience initiatives and deals.

4. Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage vendors and external partners related to employee experience projects, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

  • Secure exclusive employee offers, discounts, and invitations through partnerships with external brands, enhancing Maxis employee value proposition.

5. Listening & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the design and implementation of employee engagement surveys, feedback mechanisms, and other listening tools to assess the effectiveness of the BYM (Because You Matter) strategy.

6. Collaboration & Execution

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless planning and execution of employee experience programmes and services, including sports, well-being, and engagement initiatives.

  • Support the creation of holistic employee experiences that extend beyond work - including initiatives for employees families and dependents.

7. Onboarding & Integration

  • Oversee the onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed, and connected from Day 1.

  • Continuously enhance the employee journey by supporting new hires integration and day-to-day experience at Maxis.

What you need to have for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in employee engagement, employee experience, HR, internal communications, or a related function.
  • Proven track record in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives, programs, or campaigns
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of employee experience and engagement principles, including end-to-end employee journey mapping
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret insights and translate them into actionable initiatives
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft engaging messages across multiple channels
  • Creative thinking with a passion for designing impactful and meaningful employee initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across different business units and levels
  • Adaptability and resilience in managing evolving priorities and organisational needs.
