We are seeking an experienced End-User Computing (EUC) Engineer to support and manage enterprise endpoint environments, identity services, and EUC automation initiatives within a financial services environment. This role is responsible for ensuring a secure, stable, compliant, and increasingly automated end-user computing landscape. The ideal candidate combines strong Id & access management and endpoint support experience with hands-on automation skills to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance service reliability.
What you'll do:
End-User Computing & Endpoint Support
- Provide Level 2 / Level 3 EUC support for enterprise Standard Operating Environments (SOE) across desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile device running MacOS, iOS, iPadOS, Android Troubleshoot OS, hardware, application, and peripheral issues in a controlled financial services environment
- Manage endpoint lifecycle: provisioning, imaging, patching, upgrades, replacements, and decommissioning
- Support remote and hybrid workforce setups in compliance with security policies
- Ensure endpoint configurations meet internal security baselines and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate asset records, configurations, and EUC documentation
Identity & Access Management
- Administer Administer and maintain LDAP directories and identity provider (IdP) platforms for secure and reliable authentication services. (user and group management, permissions)
- Perform user onboarding, offboarding, and access changes following least-privilege principles
- Troubleshoot authentication, login, and policy enforcement issues
- Work closely with security teams on access reviews, audits, and remediation
Device Management
- Manage and optimize the organization's MDM platform .
- Design and maintain secure device enrollment flows for iOS, Android, and corporate/BYOD deployments.Implement compliance policies, security baselines, and app lifecycle management across device platforms e.g., App packaging/publishing, managed app configuration, versioning, phased deployments, Implement app protection policies where applicable.Troubleshoot enrollment, compliance, app deployment, and authentication issues.Integrate MDM with identity providers and support Conditional Access policies. Maintain reporting, monitoring, and audit-ready evidence for device endpoints.
EUC Automation & Scripting
- Lead the design and implementation for hardening, and automation of end‑user computing security policies and configurations.
- Design and implement automation solutions to streamline EUC operations and reduce manual work
- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g. Bash/Python)
- User provisioning and deprovisioning
- Endpoint configuration and remediation
- Software installation and updates
- Routine operational checks and reporting
- Integrate automation with ITSM workflows (e.g. request fulfilment, approvals) where applicable
- Ensure all automation follows security, change management, and audit requirements
- Document automation workflows and maintain version control
Operations, Risk & Compliance
- Resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLAs
- Adhere strictly to incident, change, and access management processes
- Participate in internal and external audits (e.g. technology risk reviews)
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive controls
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and evidence for audit purposes
- Provide mentoring or guidance to junior engineers where required
Collaboration & Productivity Tools (Good-to-Have)
- Support enterprise collaboration platforms (e.g. Lark, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom)
- Manage user access, permissions, and basic configurations
- Troubleshoot client issues and support secure usage of collaboration tools
What we are looking for:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in EUC / Desktop Support / End-User Computing roles
- Strong hands-on experience with IAM administration like Okta and AD
- Proven experience supporting enterprise endpoint environments
- Hands-on scripting and automation experience, preferably using Bash/Python
- Ability to design simple but robust automation for EUC workflows
- Experience operating in regulated or security-conscious environments
- The role is based fully onsite, requiring your presence in the office.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries
- Exposure to Lark or similar collaboration platforms
- Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, JAMF, Kandji)
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms
- Basic knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN)
