Job Title: End User Computing (EUC) Support Engineer
Location: Midvalley, Kuala Lumpur
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for incidents and service requests related to Windows OS, Microsoft 365 applications, Exchange Online, and SharePoint.
Manage and maintain end-user devices, ensuring performance, security, and compliance standards are met.
Perform Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration, including user provisioning, license assignment, mailbox configuration, and service monitoring.
Administer and support Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online (permissions, site access, and collaboration setup).
Manage and support Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) in a hybrid AD Connect environment, including user and group administration, synchronization monitoring, and basic understanding of identity management concepts such as authentication, federation, and access governance.
Execute basic PowerShell scripts for automation, data extraction, and administrative efficiency.
Deploy and manage endpoints through Microsoft Intune and/or SCCM, handling application deployment, policy management, patching, and compliance enforcement.
Support OS imaging, configuration, and software distribution processes.
Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to identify root causes, implement solutions, and prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with Leads/Strategy consultants, infrastructure, and cloud teams for escalations and project-based work.
Maintain detailed documentation, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides in the knowledge base.
Required Skills and Experience:
35 years experience in IT Support, End User Computing, or equivalent Level 2 technical role.
Strong hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office 365 environments, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
Active Directory (Mid-Level) user/group management, OU structure, Group Policy, and access control.
Understanding of Hybrid AD Connect and Entra ID (Azure AD) synchronization, with basic identity management knowledge (authentication flow, MFA, SSO, and access governance).
PowerShell (Basic) experience writing or modifying simple administrative scripts.
Intune / SCCM (Mid-Level) managing device enrollment, software deployment, patching, and compliance policies.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues within scope.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across support tiers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100/MD-101).
Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator or Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).
CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation certification.
Exposure to Conditional Access, Intune device compliance, or security baselines (advantageous).
