Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) SME

We are looking for an experiencedEndpoint Detection & Response (EDR) SMEwith strong expertise in SentinelOne and Tanium. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing endpoint and server security solutions aligned with MITRE ATT&CK, Zero Trust, and organizational risk strategies. You will also provide technical mentorship, process improvements, and strategic insights to enhance operational resilience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategy:

• Support Product Owner in shaping and executing the SentinelOne/Tanium roadmap.
• Provide insights on endpoint/server security trends and best practices.
• Optimize platform performance, agent deployment, and coverage.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline security operations.
• Advise on future-proofing endpoint/server and cloud security architecture.

Business:

• Ensure optimal operation of endpoint and server security tools.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams for smooth deployment.
• Provide SME support for production incidents and service disruptions.
• Deliver recommendations for tool changes, upgrades, and new features.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical enhancements.

Processes:

• Maintain and enhance runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting playbooks.
• Conduct root cause analysis for platform/agent issues.
• Improve agent rollout, upgrade, policy change, and configuration processes.
• Strengthen automation workflows (health checks, compliance audits, threat response).
• Implement continuous service improvement (CSI) processes aligned with organizational standards.

People & Talent:

• Mentor L2/L3 teams, delivering training and knowledge transfer.
• Support onboarding and skill development of junior engineers.
• Promote a culture of learning, innovation, and cross-team collaboration.
• Assist in shaping talent development plans and succession planning.
