What’s The Role
The SEAM organization (Safety, Environment & Asset Management) supports Shell’s global operations by integrating key functions to drive performance and innovation.
SEAM focuses on:
- Introducing new technologies and ways of working (e.g., digital tools, SBO, real-time optimization, Human Performance-Based Safety).
- Providing performance insights to ensure reliable execution.
- Supporting business improvement plans and their implementation.
- Sustaining excellence through strong internal capabilities and consistent practices.
The Engineer CMMS – ADT role is part of the VP TAO organization, which delivers integrated value across Shell by enabling the Asset Management System (AMS). TAO provides high-quality, cost-effective technical support remotely, embedded within asset teams to drive end
-to-end AMS processes across Downstream, Integrated Gas, and Upstream.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver accurate CMMS builds across Upstream, Downstream, and IGRES.
- Analyze technical data/documents and provide insights from a CMMS perspective by collaborating with engineering, maintenance, operations, and project teams.
- Use data analytics to develop data stories that improve reliability, maintainability, and availability of systems/equipment.
- Act as SME in developing key data structures and initial CMMS setup.
- Guide data extraction from engineering drawings (e.g., P&IDs, PEFS, SLDs) to meet stakeholder needs.
- Support identification of Safety Critical Elements (SCEs) and participate in risk assessments as needed.
- Develop maintenance strategies and plans in SAP, coordinate planning and scheduling with discipline engineers.
- Demonstrate how technical data supports site operations and audits.
- Liaise with CP Data teams for BOM and Material Master development.
- Help standardize CMMS processes, tools, and procedures across projects.
- Track project KPIs, manages quality of deliverables, and supports continuous improvement.
- Perform data stewardship activities including cleansing, mining, profiling, and reporting.
- Support P2A handover processes to ensure smooth project transitions and error-free delivery.
- Advise stakeholders on CMMS-related audit readiness and gap closure planning.
