Engineer/Executive Technical - Rapid Rail

Job description

Responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing preventive, corrective, and heavy maintenance activities for rail systems and engineering assets to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient railway operations. The role ensures maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), statutory requirements, and safety standards, while optimizing asset performance, resource utilization, and operational readiness. The incumbent also provides technical guidance, monitors maintenance performance, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering or an equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years of working experience in engineering, experience in the rail industry is an added advantage.
