Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Perform FA analysis on components and module from production and customer returned failures
- Feedback the analysis findings in the form of reports and photographs and ensure cycle time fulfilment as per targets set
- Ensure failure analysis equipment and test fixtures under his or her ownership are at the optimum condition
- Document and review all FA processes under his or her responsibility in terms of FA machine operating instruction and process work instruction
- Venture into new approaches/concepts in product failure analysis techniques and equipment to get the pertinent failure information with less effort and/or time
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of technology/state of art in the field of failure analysis
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to assistant engineers and lab technicians pertaining to defect analysis and matters related to safety, health, and environment before they are allowed to handle/operate the machine or process
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Degree/Master holder in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Applied Science with major in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 3 years of related working experience
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good aptitude in engineering analysis, problem-solving and solution seeking
- Statistical data analysis knowledge
