The Role: Engineer II, Mechanical Engineering
Our Company is seeking a
Engineer II, Mechanical Engineering to join our team. The
Mechanical Engineer Will be responsible for design, detailing and documenting mechanical and electro-mechanical systems used in Ultra-High Purity (UHP) gas purification system products.
What You'll Do:
- Design mechanical components and assemblies for UHP gas purification systems.
- Size and select components as required to meet UHP gas purifier system requirements.
- Create solid models, drawings, procedures and other required documents to support development of systems.
- Perform and document mathematical computations and other analysis as required to support product design.
- Work with component suppliers and operations to ensure products meet design requirements.
- Work cross functionally to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and controls sub-systems.
- Conduct simulations and analysis to evaluate system performance and reliability.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including engineering drawings, design specifications, and test reports.
- Analyze and optimize purification processes to enhance efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and minimize environmental impact.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in gas purification technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in system testing as needed.
What We Seek:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, ability to analyze data
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software, and simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks Simulation, ANSYS).
- SolidWorks 3D CAD and 2D Drawing Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Proficiency in SAP ERP systems, especially BOMs, routings, and documentation.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Detail oriented and strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and processes.
- Able to work with all levels of employees and management within the organization
- Prior internship and work experience a plus
- A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and sustainability
- Draftsight/AutoCAD 2D CAD experience a plus.

- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience working in a global company with cross-site collaboration.
- Technical expertise in areas such as welding, fabrication, physical testing, and electro-mechanical design.
