KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Main roles and responsibilities
Monitor and report performance of Process & Water Quality aspect at Region
- Responsible to investigate, prepare Non-conformance Report which included investigation, root causes, action plan & recommended corrective action / improvement for any water quality issues (violation etc) and process deficiency of WTPs.
- Responsible to ensure all WTPs submitted and check monthly water quality report submission to WQLS
- Responsible to conduct a study for betterment of process engineering, design and water
- quality in view reasonable operation cost
- Responsible to attend unscheduled plant shutdown due to raw water pollution and supervise to expedite plant start-up
- Responsible to ensure sampling program for treated water reservoir and sampling is being conducted as scheduled
- Responsible to ensure filter performance conducted as per plan and provide assistance and guidance to all plant personnel on upgrade of knowledge on filter performance
- Responsible to prepare any special report regarding process improvement or process failure as requested by management
- Review SOP, guideline & risk assessment regarding process treatment periodically or when necessary
- Responsible to ensure calibration and verification of laboratory equipment at WTPs is carry
- out by WQLS & third party accordingly
- Responsible to monitor and provide guidance on laboratory procedure, safety programs and regulations & ensure WTPs implementing good housekeeping for laboratory condition including equipment and recommend improvement where required
- Responsible to identify safety requirement for all activities for water quality testing and to provide basic guidance for the WTPs staffs on handling such situation
Ensure WTP staffs knowledge enhancement in water quality and process systems are update and maintain accordingly as per company policy
- Responsible to ensure all documentation related with water quality, laboratory equipment and process systems is update and maintain accordingly as per company policy
- Responsible to provide assistance and guidance to all plant personnel on upgrade of knowledge on water treatment, process control, and safety with objective to improve productivity
Adherence of Safety & Health according Company's policy and requirement
- Responsible for adherence of compliance to relevant HSE rules, regulations procedures
- Adhere to company policy and procedure on safety matters
Compliance with Air Selangor Management Systen (AIMS)
- Adhere to AIMS policy at all times where relevant to participate in the management system initiative
- To ensure the objectives are established in the management system, in line with to context and direction of the strategic organization.
- Communicate the importance of effectiveness of management system and it needs
- To ensure that management system is implemented effectively and updated; and
- Assist main coordinator for related case in Emergency Response Plan (ERP), Business Continuity Plan (BCP) during crisis / emergency.

Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical, Environmental)
- Fresh graduate / one (1) year working experience in water treatment process and operation
- 1 year working experience in water treatment process and operation.
