As an Engineering Intern, you will be part of the team supporting the operation, maintenance, and improvement of site facilities and utilities systems. This role provides hands-on exposure to facility management, engineering maintenance practices, and technical project execution in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with daily facility operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and monitoring of utility systems
- Support preventive maintenance planning, scheduling, site inspections, and maintenance reporting
- Assist with improvement projects, including energy-saving initiatives, equipment upgrades, and reliability enhancements
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and support implementation of corrective actions for equipment failures
- Support contractors during maintenance and project activities while ensuring safety and site compliance
- Maintain and update engineering records, SOPs, technical documentation, and AutoCAD drawings
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics) with CGPA of 3.0 and above.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles related to facility systems (mechanical or electrical).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with knowledge and ability to use AutoCAD is required.
- Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail.
- Good communication and willingness to learn in a hands-on industrial environment.
- Able to work in a team and follow safety procedures strictly.
