Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Responsible for installing, configuring and operating our complex Linux/Unix Infrastructure within our worldwide distributed data centers, including high availability solutions
- Automate and continuously improve all technical processes
- Availability and performance monitoring, including creation and customization of dashboards and alerts
- Troubleshooting and problem solving as part of 2nd and 3rd level support in cooperation with our internal customer
- Provide IT security support for the implementation of hardening/protection of the server systems and the running services on them
- Provide technology consulting for our customers, as well as the creation of architectural concepts and their implementation
- Independently takeover (sub-)projects from the design phase through development to productive usage
- Creation of technical documentation, training and training material
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Bachelor's Degree in Technical Computer Science ( alternatively Mathematics, Physics with IT relevant)
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in IT or related fields
- Experience in a highly critical production environment is preferred
- Good knowledge of one or more of the following IT tools (e.g Ansible, Python, Rundeck, Git, Bitbucket, Shell Scripting, Kibana, Zabbix)
- Good knowledge of one or more of the following operating systems (e.g Redhat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Solaris, HP-UX
- Experienced in project management is preferred
- Willingness to work on-call on rotational basis (24x7)
- Excellent English communication skills, and able to work in a independent, structured and methodical way
Note: 1-year renewable contract under 3rd party payroll partner and entitled to benefits according to the partner company.
