Engineer - Mechanical & Tankage

Jobs description:

• Follows established procedures and guidelines to design, install products and services that is required by the organization.
• Reviews / implements project / job specification.
• Review engineering documents for government submission and for construction.
• Carry out basic and detailed engineering design including calculations / analysis as project requirements.
• Prepared and updates material take-off for project procurement and bid proposals.
• Assist in preparing cost estimate for tender proposal.
• Coordinates and cooperates with other disciplines on new process requirements, design interface checks and design changes.
• Adheres to ISO, client and International Standard Quality requirement in the execution of works as applicable.
• Supervises, manages and monitors the designer activities.
• Provide technical assistance to construction team.
• Attend site check / verification
• Adheres to drawing checking procedure.

Job requirement:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5-8 years relevant working experience in design and drafting of tanks and pressure vessels in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Industries.
• Well versed in the local and international codes and standards such as API 650, API 620, EN 14015, ASME section VIII, division 1 or 2.
• Computer literate and have good hand-on experience on applications such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, PV Elite & tank software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidate must be willing to work at Pengerang, Johor.
