Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Engineer role based in Johor Bahru. The Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and improving electrical and/or mechanical systems, equipment, and processes in the facility. Daily tasks may include preparing technical drawings or documentation, performing equipment inspections, troubleshooting operational issues, and coordinating with technicians and other team members to ensure smooth project execution. The role involves monitoring system performance, supporting preventive and corrective maintenance, and implementing safety and quality standards. The Engineer will also collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and clients, and assist with technical reports, cost estimates, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in engineering principles (e.g., electrical, mechanical, or related discipline) and ability to apply them to industrial environments.
• Experience with equipment installation, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications; familiarity with relevant standards and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with common engineering tools and software (e.g., CAD, measurement instruments, basic office productivity tools).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients.
• Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to work on-site in Johor Bahru and be involved in hands-on technical activities.
• Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing operations in Malaysia is an advantage.
