Job Description

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • AutoCAD and EPLAN experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in industrial installations, electrical power distribution and protection for low and medium voltages (switchgear, transformers, motor control centres, lighting, automation cabinets), preferably in the Oil & Gas or maritime industry.
  • Understanding of offshore and maritime rules and regulations regarding electrical equipment.
  • Understanding of IC Engine and Gen-Set Control
  • Understanding of engine control system, generator control system.
  • Basic understanding of automation (PLC) applications.
  • Ability to learn concepts and technical details of complex systems.
  • Ability to work independently, accepting ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Pro-active and self-motivated team player with strong engineering judgment skills.
  • Able to work well in a high pressure environment with continuous changes.
  • Creativity and strong analytical skills to solve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken, strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel for short assignments and work abroad or offshore

Job Descriptions:

  • To engage with customers and promote TPS Solution mainly on Instrumentation and Electrical Equipment.
  • To keep abreast of market conditions and identify project sales opportunities for TPS offered solutions.
  • To regularly update on no. of sales presentation made, engagement with customer, close follow up on prospects, update tender and order book and update sales conversion.
  • Monitoring payment schedule, invoicing and liaise with Account Department on project payment transactions.
  • Responsible in preparation of proposals, execution of the purchase orders, monitoring of projects progress and schedule of delivery, co-ordinate flow of project information between the principals and clients, interfacing with the principals representative and the fabricators during the installation of the equipment / module.
  • Provides support to operation team for offshore and onshore installations work.
  • Provides technical procurement support about spare parts.
  • Sourcing for CAT and Non-CAT equipment.
  • Fields service, installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • Review electrical engineering drawings.
  • Design electrical and instruments installation systems.
  • Create electrical installation details, one-line diagrams, panel layouts, cable and consumer lists.
  • Retrieve information to complete drawing, layout and design including technical specifications.
  • Support a multidisciplinary team on E&I matters.
  • Develop best practice working procedures to support E&I developments.
  • Create and maintain formal documents.
  • Check standard and regulatory compliance
