Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronics, Mechatronics or any equivalent engineering discipline.
Candidates with experience in SMT, PCB assembly or semiconductor manufacturing will have an added advantage.
Knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes, machine programming, ECN, and PCB assembly is preferred.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and manufacturing documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
Job Responsibilities:
Review and evaluate products, samples, engineering drawings, and specification requirements, and conduct feasibility studies on manufacturing technologies.
Act as the project champion for new product introduction (NPI) and product transfer projects until full production implementation.
Liaise and coordinate with customers and cross-functional departments on new product and project development.
Update Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and feeder setup lists to ensure accurate production documentation.
Plan and optimize production processes to achieve efficient manufacturing at the most economical cost.
Plan the sequence of operations and determine the appropriate machines and equipment based on production workload and capacity.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement continuous process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
