Automotive Industries Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary company under Toyota Malaysia, is seeking an Engineering Executive to join our team. The incumbent of this role will be responsible for driving end-to-end new product development, including cost analysis, process design, project coordination, and successful transition to mass production within budget and quality targets.
Job Description
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost study/analysis based on customer drawing/specification for purpose providing competitive costing/quote to customer.
- Design a comprehensive manufacturing process for new product/project based on company's process capabilities that meet customer spec and quality requirements.
- Prepare/establish documentation required for new product development based on customer specific requirements and internal documents that satisfy audit requirement.
- Prepare and update development schedule for Internal process and External procurement parts such as tooling/die schedule, jig/fixture schedule, parts/improvement schedule.
- Execute and monitor overall development progress which include component/parts preparation, line set up, sample development and regularly update the progress to meet customer and company's requirements.
- Prepare overall master plan for new model development which meet with customer event requirement and standard.
- Lead a team of multi-disciplinary department as a task force in development of new product to achieve overall project target.
- Monitor expenditure of project based on plan budget and ensuring the cost meet below the budget.
- Conduct proper mass production hand over and monitoring for new product developed.
Job Requirements
- Possess a recognized Degree in Engineering
- Good command of spoken & written English, Good Microsoft office proficiency – Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook),
- Accuracy in Engineering specification and costing
