Civil or Mechanical Coordinator
Site Coordination & Supervision
- Supervise daily civil and structure or mechanical works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and site workers to ensure smooth progress of work.
- Monitor work sequences to ensure proper construction practices and safety procedures are followed.
Quality Control
- Inspect and verify workmanship, structural elements, rebar works, formworks, concreting and finishing work - for Civil role
- Check pipe materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, HDPE), fittings, valves, gaskets, and supports upon delivery - for Mechanical role
- Ensure materials delivered to site comply with approved specification and QA/QC requirements.
- Highlight non-conformities and ensure corrective action are taken.
Progress Monitoring
- Track daily site progress and report to Site Manager.
- Prepare daily site reports, progress photo, and update work status.
- Ensure work is completed within schedule, resolving site constraints promptly.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Ensure all site personnel comply with safety rules and regulations.
- Report unsafe acts/ conditions and enforce corrective action.
Electrical Coordinator
Electrical Installation
- Supervise installation of electrical system including LV panels, MCC, DB, switchboards, cabling, earthing and lighting.
- Monitor laying, glanding, termination, and testing of power and control cables.
- Ensure compliance with SLD, wiring diagrams, cable schedules and electrical standards.
- Oversee installation of motors, control panels and ensure proper alignment & rotation checks.
Instrumentation Installation
- Supervise installation of field instruments such as pressure/flow/temperature transmitters, level sensors, weighing systems, proximity switches, solenoid valves, and limit switches.
- Oversee instrument tubing, impulse lines, junction boxes, and marshalling cabinet connections.
- Verify instrument calibration, loop checks, cold and hot commissioning.
- Ensure all instruments are installed according to P&ID, hook-up drawings, and vendor guidelines.
Coordination & Site Management
- Coordinate with mechanical, piping, civil and others to avoid clashes and ensure proper routing of cables and conduit.
- Plan daily work activities to meet project schedule and resolve site technical issues promptly.
Quality Control
- Inspect materials upon delivery- cables, trays, conduits, instruments, lighting, junction boxes, and electrical accessories.
- Check installation workmanship for compliance with specification and site standards.
- Verify cable tray alignment, earthing continuity, cable insulation resistance tests, and instrument installation quality.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years site experience. Prior experience in palm oil industry is an added advantage. Fresh Graduate can be consider for this role.
- Able to understand P&ID, loop diagram, wiring diagram and layout drawings.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
