Engineering Lead (Senior Manager)

Summary of the role

You'll provide engineering leadership to the manufacturing site, improving line performance and process capability while ensuring engineering integrity, food safety compliance, and strong safety and environmental standards through structured continuous improvement and project delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Production engineering & compliance: support operations with engineering expertise while ensuring compliance with FSSC, HACCP, GMP, hygienic engineering and internal quality monitoring requirements.
• Reliability & performance improvement: monitor plant performance, remove bottlenecks and quality constraints, and partner with Production/ Quality/ Engineering to resolve technical issues fast.
• CI & project delivery: initiate and lead CI projects using best-practice benchmarking, delivering agreed outcomes on time and within budget.
• Technical leadership & capability building: train, coach and mentor teams on process technology and SOPs, support new process/ technology implementation, and embed strong SHE and environmental compliance.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automation/ Process).
• Strong knowledge of equipment design, maintenance, troubleshooting & reliability.
• Strong knowledge of food processing technology.
• Strong project management, communication, networking, and leadership skills; able to work cross-functionally across Production, Quality, Engineering and Finance.
