As the Engineering Manager, you will formulate the plan to coordinate and implement all maintenance activities and personnel in all aspects of plant maintenance and engineering, projects, and equipment technology transfer in order to minimize unplanned downtime and maintain department KPI (Key Performance Index).

Your goal / purpose will be to manage the engineering department in Nilai.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage the department and Capex project RM 2M – 3M.
• Good understanding in TPM and other management tools, to assist in equipment maintenance and upgrade.
• Possess a good understanding and working member on ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and IATF16949 management system.
• Good understanding in QCC, TPM and other management tools to assist in equipment maintenance and upgrade.
• Manage all direct reporting staff accordingly

Requirements for the role:

• At least 5 years experience in leading and managing a team of technicians to achieve department goals.
• Possessing skills in PLC programming will be an added advantage especially Allan Bradley PLC.
• Have a good knowledge in design automation system.
• Able to liaise and meet local statutory Government body on new equipment installation.
• Possess good knowledge in planning, coordination and implementation in project and improvement works.
• Have a good knowledge in design automation systems.
