Job Description:
- Applies deep knowledge of one or more engineering domains to influence clients and stakeholders for achieving strategic objectives of engineering project(s)/program(s).
- Contributes technical expertise to the development of new products, working with cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines such as, but not limited to, chemical, electrical, hardware, industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, process, software, and technology platforms and investigates technical roadblocks to help troubleshoot and drive results.
- Manages complex projects and programs that are directly tied to the development, implementation or upgrade of manufacturing systems/processes, hardware products, software programs, and/or technology platforms.
- Leads review with executives and department leads for large-scale programs, providing transparency into the health, risk, and financials of individual projects.
- Manages teams to the achievement of program level milestones and prioritizes deliverables to meet strategic needs.
- Drives requirements scoping, analysis, priorities and planning including interdependencies, business and customer priorities, staffing constraints, and schedule optimization across multiple product teams.
- Exhibits knowledge of customer gaps, needs and required usages to drive teams to delivering high ROI products.
- Advises and mentors the project/program management teams, providing guidance and leading the advancement of project management competencies.
- Exercises thought leadership to innovate new processes and procedures within the engineering domain.
- Oversees projects and/or programs that require business acumen as well as interaction and domain knowledge in one or more engineering areas such as design, development, architecture, validation, manufacturing, and/or processes.
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end materials strategy for assigned programs, ensuring materials are delivered on time, at target cost, and at required quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- This role partners closely with engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, finance, and suppliers to support program execution from new product introduction through mass production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent engineering project management experience.
- 7+ years of experience in engineering project management, materials management, or operations.
- Proven leadership driving complex, cross-functional programs.
- Strong collaboration with design, planning, procurement, manufacturing, and marketing teams.
- Advanced analytical skills, including data analysis and modeling.
- Deep experience and strong network within OSAT and ODM work environments.
