Job Description

The ERP Specialist (Oracle ERP Lead) is responsible for driving the implementation, enhancement, and integration of the organization's Oracle ERP system (Oracle E-Business Suite / Oracle Fusion Cloud). The role focuses on delivering ERP transformation initiatives, optimizing system capabilities, and ensuring seamless integration across enterprise systems, while supporting existing ERP operations in collaboration with domain teams (Finance, HCM, etc.) under the direction of the Head of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems & Support (ERPSS)

Implementation, Enhancements & Integration (Primary Focus)

  • Lead execution of Oracle ERP implementations, upgrades, and enhancement initiatives aligned with the ERP roadmap
  • Drive system configuration including chart of accounts, business units, workflows, and approval hierarchies
  • Manage and coordinate end-to-end testing cycles (System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test) to ensure quality delivery
  • Lead data migration, deployment, and environment readiness activities
  • Design, support, and govern integrations using:
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • APIs and web services
  • Evaluate and implement system enhancements, extensions, and automation opportunities
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and sustainability of ERP solutions

Business Process Optimization & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with ERP Business Users (Finance, HR, Procurement) stakeholders to support transformation initiatives
  • Analyze and map business processes to Oracle ERP capabilities
  • Recommend and implement improvements aligned with Oracle best practices
  • Drive cross-functional process integration and standardization
  • Act as key liaison between business users, ERP teams, and technical teams

User Support, Training & Service Delivery

  • Provide advanced-level support for complex or cross-functional ERP issues
  • Act as escalation point for incidents requiring multi-module or integration expertise
  • Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and solution designs
  • Conduct targeted training for new functionalities and enhancements
  • Monitor service delivery performance and support continuous improvement

Data, Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure data integrity and alignment across integrated ERP modules
  • Support enterprise reporting using BI Publisher, OTBI, and SQL
  • Oversee data migration validation, reconciliation, and reporting accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements, internal controls, and policies
  • Support role-based access controls and segregation of duties
  • Assist in audits and system reviews

Coordination with Application Teams

  • Collaborate with ERP functional teams responsible for day-to-day system administration
  • Support technology domain teams in resolving cross-module and integration-related issues
  • Provide guidance on system dependencies, impacts, and upstream/downstream processes
  • Align enhancements and changes across modules to avoid conflicts and duplication
  • Contribute to overall ERP system stability through coordination rather than direct ownership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in Oracle ERP (EBusiness Suite or Fusion Cloud)
  • Strong experience in ERP implementation, enhancements, and integration projects
  • Experience working across multiple modules (Financials, SCM, HCM)
