Summary of Job Role:
The Enterprise Risk Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of the Company's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across FPSO operations, offshore production assets, and project execution activities.
The role will identify, assess, monitor, and report operational, project, commercial, HSEQ, and regulatory risks while providing risk-based insights to support executive decision-making. The position will work closely with project, operations, and functional teams to ensure risks are effectively managed throughout the asset and project lifecycle.
A key component of the role is to leverage historical FPSO performance data, operational trends, and lessons learned to develop predictive risk intelligence that enhances operational reliability, project execution, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Risk Management
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework in alignment with ISO 31000 principles and industry best practices.
- Maintain and update enterprise risk registers across FPSO operations, projects, and corporate functions.
- Facilitate risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities across departments.
- Monitor risk exposure and ensure risk management processes are consistently applied throughout the organization.
Operational Risk Management
- Identify and assess operational risks impacting FPSO production, marine operations, asset integrity, and offshore activities.
- Monitor key operational risk indicators and emerging risk trends.
- Support the review of risks related to equipment reliability, maintenance activities, production performance, and offshore operations.
- Assist in the evaluation of critical operational activities including shutdowns, start-ups, and offloading operations.
Project Risk Management
- Facilitate project risk workshops during engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational phases.
- Track project risks relating to cost, schedule, contractor performance, supply chain challenges, and commissioning readiness.
- Support project teams with risk assessments and mitigation planning.
Predictive Risk Intelligence & Analysis
- Maintain a centralized historical risk and lessons learned database.
- Analyze operational incidents, downtime events, equipment failures, and project performance trends.
- Develop risk reports and benchmarking analyses to support future project planning and operational improvements.
- Assist in establishing predictive risk indicators and performance benchmarks.
Assurance & Governance
- Support risk assurance reviews across operational assets and project sites.
- Monitor mitigation action plans and track closure of identified risks.
- Assist with internal audits, external audits, and regulatory reviews.
- Prepare risk dashboards, reports, and Key Risk Indicator (KRI) updates for management review.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Engineering, Marine, Offshore, Business, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification in Risk Management (IRM, PMI-RMP, ISO 31000, CRMP, or equivalent) is preferred.
Key Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, project risk, assurance, governance, or related functions.
- Experience within FPSO, offshore oil & gas, marine, shipbuilding, EPC, or energy sectors.
- Understanding of offshore production operations, project execution, and risk management methodologies.
- Experience facilitating risk assessments and preparing management-level reports.

- Strong report writing and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to interpret operational and project data to identify risk trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and risk management reporting tools.
