Enterprise Solutions Consultant (Presales)
We are looking to engage a senior experienced Enterprise Solutions Consultant for our client to support presales and business development initiatives within the financial services sector. This role will partner closely with sales and internal delivery teams to design, position, and articulate enterpriselevel solutions for banking and insurance clients.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in presales engagement, solution architecture, and consultative selling, with demonstrated experience supporting complex opportunities across financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Presales & Client Engagement
- Partner with sales teams to understand client objectives, technical requirements, and business drivers.
- Deliver technical presentations, solution walkthroughs, and collaborative workshops for financial services stakeholders.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and contribute to responses for RFIs, RFPs, and tender submissions.
Solution Design & Architecture
- Design scalable, endtoend enterprise solutions aligned with business goals and technical constraints.
- Validate solution feasibility by collaborating with product, engineering, and delivery stakeholders.
- Ensure proposed architectures support performance, security, integration, and operational scalability.
Consultative Solutioning
- Translate customer challenges into clear solution narratives and valuebased propositions.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding clients through complex architecture and technology decisions.
- Maintain strong awareness of market offerings, competitor positioning, and emerging technologies.
Industry & Domain Expertise
- Apply domain knowledge across banking, insurance, and capital markets to shape solution recommendations.
- Stay informed on regulatory, compliance, and operational considerations impacting financial institutions.
- Support sales strategy and account planning through industryaligned solution insight.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 7+ years of experience in presales, enterprise solution architecture, or technical consulting roles.
- Proven experience supporting financial services clients in a technical or consultative capacity.
- Solid understanding of enterprise IT architectures, cloud platforms, integration frameworks, and security concepts.
- Strong communication, presentation, and senior stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to translate technical complexity into clear business value.
- Exposure to mainframe environments is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with platforms such as IBM, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Red Hat, or similar enterprise technologies.
- Familiarity with core banking platforms, digital transformation initiatives, or fintech ecosystems.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, or equivalent credentials are a plus.
