Role Description The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in WP Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS policies, procedures, and programs across facility management operations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, overseeing workplace safety inspections, managing incident and accident investigations, and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental and occupational health regulations. The EHS Manager will coordinate and deliver training for employees and service partners, promote safety awareness, and collaborate with operations and management teams to drive continuous improvement in EHS performance. The role also involves preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting audits to uphold high safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong knowledge and experience in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Candidates should possess practical expertise in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), including risk assessment, policy implementation, and environmental compliance in facility management or related sectors.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and reporting to prevent recurrence of incidents.
  • Candidates should possess experience in designing and delivering Training programs related to EHS, safety awareness, and compliance for diverse employee groups.
  • Relevant academic qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; professional certifications in EHS or safety management are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and influence safe behaviors.
  • Experience in integrated facility management, building maintenance, or similar operational environments is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a hybrid work setting.
