Environment, Health and Safety Manager

JOB SUMMARY

This manager has the responsibility of managing daily operations of EHS and Compliance of

the Company This role requires involvement on planning, scheduling, and assigning tasks to staff and IDL to ensure adherence to local legislation, ISO standards, customer requirements and the Company's corporate standards.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Areas

1. EHS Compliance

Communicate EHS, compliance, local legal, corporate standards, expectations, and

requirements to internal and external stakeholders.

Execute programs to support compliance to EHS, compliance, local legal, corporate

standards.

2. Reducing Incidents

Work with relevant stakeholders in reducing the number of incidents in the plant through

effective EHS programs and implementation of standard.

Develop a competent cross function team to conduct incident investigation to prevent

incidents at workplace.

3.Planning, Training & Performance

Scheduling and planning of customer and ISO audits for business continuity.

Plan relevant training for the subordinates to develop core competencies to perform their job

effectively.

Report plant performance to GM and EHS corporate team on the EHS performance and

compliance.

Solve technical problem related to EHS and Compliance.

4.Others

Assist/participate in other Company events & activities as and when required.

To participate/support other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by

the company from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

University degree holder

Safety Health Officer with Greenbook

7-10 years of supply chain experience in EHS related areas

Able to articulate complex EHS issues and provide solution to resolve them.

Strong technical and commercial understanding of the following of EHS issues

associated with social compliance, product quality & safety, EH&S, and security.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Excellent communication skills with ability to provide presentations confidently to an

executive audience (both internal & external) in meetings, seminars and one to one discussion.

Ability to build strong relationship and communicate effectively with internal and

external stakeholders.

Willing to travel occasionally when needed.
