Job Description

Your Contribution

  • Lead and drive all Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) and Security initiatives to ensure compliance with legal, corporate and industry requirements.
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve the site's Integrated Management System, including EHS, Risk Management and Energy Management programs.
  • Monitor EHS performance through KPIs, audits, inspections and reporting, providing actionable recommendations to management.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits, coordinate external certification audits, and ensure effective follow-up of corrective actions.
  • Lead EHS-related projects, best-practice implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site and global network.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conduct drills, investigate incidents, and drive preventive actions.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify, assess and mitigate operational, environmental and safety risks.
  • Provide expert guidance on EHS legislation, standards and regulatory changes, ensuring organizational compliance.
  • Deliver EHS training, awareness programs and coaching to foster a strong safety culture across the organization.
  • Support investment and operational decisions by ensuring compliance with EHS and risk management requirements.
  • Manage EHS budgets and resources effectively to support business objectives and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the site's trusted EHS advisor with authority to stop unsafe work and drive corrective actions when required.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification as a Safety Officer, Safety Engineer, Environmental Management Officer or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety, environmental management, risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Qualified Internal Auditor with experience in management systems auditing (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and related standards preferred).
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS management systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Results-oriented, proactive and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English with strong report-writing and computer literacy skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and foster a positive safety culture across the organization.
