JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the daily environment, health, safety (EHS) inspection, monthly EHS inspection, and special EHS inspection of all departments;
- Responsible for rectifying, tracking and analyze data for the daily EHS inspection, monthly EHS inspection and special EHS inspection of each department;
- Planning and promotion of environment, health and safety management projects
- Propaganda and education on environment, health and safety, awareness among employees;
- Responsible for supervision and management of special equipment, use, inspection, and scrapping;
- Inspect and buy off equipment to ensure that they are safe to be use.
- Coordinate and participate in the company's emergency rescue and pre-planning exercises;
- Responsible for coordinate respective departments to investigate work-related injuries and accident prevention
- Coordinate, plan and ensure workplace to comply with legal, corporate & customer requirements.
- Assist company to maintain ISO14001: 2014 and ISO45001: 2018 system
- Support and conduct training on scheduled waste management to employees involved in scheduled waste handling.
- Coordinate for environmental performance monitoring
- Weekly work summary and work plan for the following week.
- Monthly work summary and work plan for the following month.
- Annual work summary and work plan for the following year
KEY REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:
- Degree in Safety, Environmental Engineering or any related field
- Registered with DOSH as safety and health officer
- 1-3 Years experience in related field, preferably in manufacturing industry
