Job description:
- Full responsibility of equipment performance uptime. Define maintenance procedures and perform equipment maintenance to keep up and sustain machine basic condition.
- To set-up SAP PM, maintenance work instructions TWI for responsible area. To achieve equipment key KPIs and supporting process engineering and operations teams to achieve process stability, output, process CpK and yield.
- Sustain equipment performance, daily monitoring all machine parameters and addressing Perform troubleshooting on tool's software and hardware part with application of in situ measurement systems.
- Transfer and start-up of new equipment, set-up procudure,hook-up, buy-off and qualification of new equipment together with process engineer as team, ensure processes and equipment are compliance to EHS policy.
- Perform continuous improvement to identify equipment development potential, and support development activities, perform technical alignment in global technical discussion.
- Potential to lead a group of technicians in trouble shooting and preventive maintenance of equipment, carry out PM activities and life span studies to establish Preventive Maintenance standard and specification.
- Team up with Process engineer on chronic equipment failure through appropriate trouble-shooting and continuous improvement methodology.
- Conform to quality system requirement as spelt out in FMEA, Control plan. Maintain effective records on equipment logbook on equipment failure, investigation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/ Masters/ Postgraduate Studies (PhD) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Specialize in Metrology, Mechanical , Mechatronics, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field preferred with at least 5 years of semiconductor fab support experience.
- Experience and has ability to do cross functional and contribute to global initiated projects. Basic leadership to facilitate meetings in local and global exchange meeting platform.
- Able to support in global exchange transfer project initiated to live abroad for certain period and adapt in different working culture.
- Experience on MOCVD reactors, Metallic sputtering, high temperature furnaces, in-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum and toxic gas handling principles
- Experience and in-depth knowledge on electrical, mechanical hardware components on motor, aligner, robot and controller system, wafer robot vacuum handling and chiller system principles.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia preferable, able to speak German language is an advantage.
