We are looking for a hands-on and driven Equipment Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting production line setup, equipment reliability, process improvement, and continuous optimization in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead new production line setup, including equipment installation, commissioning, evaluation, and acceptance to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Perform equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for recurring failures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), process capability, and yield enhancement.
- Support equipment upgrades, automation improvements, and technical optimization projects.
- Participate in product failure analysis (FA) and support corrective actions related to quality issues or customer complaints.
- Manage tooling, fixtures, and spare parts usage with cost control awareness.
- Ensure compliance with company EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) policies, procedures, and training requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or process improvement within manufacturing environments.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or lithium-ion battery manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, engineering drawings, tolerance analysis, and equipment maintenance methodologies.
- Familiarity with engineering software such as SolidWorks is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
