Equipment Engineer
Location: Simpang Ampat, Penang

We are looking for an experienced Equipment Engineer to manage, maintain and improve automated manufacturing equipment and production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle installation, commissioning, operation and management of automated equipment.
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair and optimization.
- Manage preventive maintenance, spare parts and equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot and work with PLC, servo motors, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Use AutoCAD to read and create mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Standardize equipment setup and prepare work instructions.
- Train production/maintenance staff on equipment operation and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to increase equipment productivity and reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in factory equipment maintenance and management.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLC and servo motor control.
- Good knowledge of pneumatic systems and equipment troubleshooting.
- Able to read and create CAD drawings and electrical/wiring diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willing to work in a manufacturing/factory environment.
