Job Description:
- Lead, schedule and supervise maintenance team for daily repair, troubleshooting, breakdown response.
- Develop and implement PM (Preventive Maintenance) plan, TPM, equipment checklist and record system.
- Lead daily inspection, safety check, LOTO, risk assessment and accident investigation for special equipment.
- Manage statutory documents: logbook, inspection report, certification, compliance record for audit.
- Coordinate with external authorized inspectors, vendors and government authorities (DOSH/ST/JKKP/Bomba).
- Train team on special equipment safety operation and compliance requirement.
- Monitor equipment condition, troubleshoot, improve reliability and eliminate hidden danger.
- Ensure all activities follow Malaysia OSH Act 1994 & Factory & Machinery Act 1967.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with over 5 years of experience in equipment department management (fluent in Mandarin).
- Experience managing high-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systems; proficient in the basic principles of high and low-voltage power distribution equipment; able to independently diagnose and handle various equipment malfunctions (possessing the required local certification for managing power distribution equipment).
- Extensive experience in production workshop equipment wiring and maintenance.
- Experience managing central air compressor stations; familiar with the maintenance of screw air compressors, refrigerated dryers, and other equipment; familiar with the materials and technical aspects of various pipelines and valves.
- Experience managing special equipment; understanding of Malaysian laws and regulations regarding the management requirements of special equipment in factories.
- Familiar with and capable of operating various fire-fighting facilities.
- Certificates:
- Safety Supervisor Certificate (SSC) – DOSH
- ST Electrical Competency Certificate (if manage high voltage)Lifting Supervisor Certificate (if manage lifting equipment)
- SKM Level 3 / 4 (Maintenance) – JPK Malaysia
- Boiler / Pressure Vessel certificate (if applicable)
- Language:
- Good English (read, write, report).
- Mandarin is a MUST (Chinese factory).
- Bahasa Malaysia basic is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
