Oracle EBS ORDS Developer (Technical)

Experience Required:

6+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)


Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS ORDS Developer with strong technical capabilities in building and integrating RESTful services using ORDS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in EBS R12, with a balanced understanding of both technical and functional aspects, and proven experience in designing scalable integrations with external systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)
  • Build and manage integrations between Oracle EBS (R12) and external/third-party systems using ORDS
  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, and database objects to support API functionality
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Ensure performance optimization, security, and scalability of ORDS-based integrations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to APIs, EBS integrations, and database components
  • Participate in design discussions and contribute to best practices for API development and EBS integrations

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)
  • Solid experience in Oracle EBS R12 (Technical focus 70%, Functional 30%)
  • Expertise in PL/SQL development
  • Proven experience in building and consuming REST APIs
  • Experience integrating Oracle EBS with third-party applications via ORDS
  • Functional knowledge of Finance modules:
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • General Ledger (GL)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
