Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Governance: Lead the Corporate Sustainability Working Committee to build a unified sustainability strategy, setting clear goals, metrics, and processes to measure group-wide performance.
- Operational Excellence: Serve as our internal subject matter expert, keeping the leadership team informed on emerging industry trends, regulatory requirements, and sustainability benchmarks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Drive employee awareness and cultivate strong relationships with internal and external partners to advance our public sustainability profile.
- Hands-On Impact: Manage the full cycle of sustainability reporting (including the annual Sustainability Statement) and conduct sustainability audits for our vendor network to ensure alignment with our standards.
- Project Leadership: Initiate and oversee projects that push our sustainability agenda forward, ensuring long-term profitability and corporate responsibility remain in lockstep.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 - 12 years of professional experience in risk management, CSR, and sustainability.
- Strong technical background in sustainability reporting and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels, from the boardroom to external stakeholders.
- Experience or familiarity with Bursa requirements on Risk and Sustainability is highly preferred.
- Certifications: Possession of relevant professional certifications such as LEED, ISO, EPA, ISO14001, PMP, WELL, USGBC, TRUE, GRI, or TSCA.
