Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive ESH policies and procedures in line with regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
- Lead ESH training programs to ensure employee awareness and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety measures into operational processes.
- Monitor and report on ESH performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
- Manage incident investigations and develop preventative measures to mitigate future risks.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the ESH team, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful ESH Section Head/Manager Should Have
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in environmental, safety, and health management within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of ESH regulations and standards in Malaysia.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and drive initiatives.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address ESH challenges effectively.
